What Canterbury Dentures can offer you:
New partial or full dentures
We can provide you with a range of dentures in a choice of materials, from a little one-tooth partial denture to fill in a gap to a complete set of full upper and full lower if you have none of your own teeth remaining.
Professional repairs whether your denture is cracked, chipped, or completely broken.
If you have had new dentures from our practice, adjustments in the following few weeks to ensure the best possible fit are all part of the service. Please be aware that everyone's needs are very individual, and that you will probably require a very different level of care from your denture-wearing friend!
We can, however, look at dentures made elsewhere and adjust these if necessary for a small price.
If you have any queries, questions about dentures or concerns about wearing dentures, please give us a ring on 01227 781188 or drop in to see us. Peter has a wealth of experience, and his advice will be clear and impartial.
Oral hygiene checks
It cannot be emphasised enough that you really ought to have regular checks with your dentist. However, Peter will carry out a comprehensive check of your mouth during the denture making process and will draw to your attention anything which needs further checking out by a dentist.
We provide annual denture checks, to ensure that your teeth are still fitting properly and not causing you any problems.
Path of referral to local dentists
We can refer you back to your own dentist when necessary. We also work closely with many local dentist practices, and can refer you to one of these if you do not have a dentist of your own.
Sports Mouthguards/Night Guards
We take the same care in making and fitting a sports gum shield or a night guard (to protect against grinding your teeth in your sleep) that we do in making dentures. So much better than the “boil in the bag” variety!
